It’s now been one year since the OnePlus One made its official debut, and to celebrate, OnePlus is discounting its flagship smartphone and its accessories.
In its announcement of the One's anniversary, OnePlus looks back at all of the things it’s done in the past year and all of the things that it’s learned. The company is also discounting the One by a whole dollar (or a single unit in your currency). That means that the 16GB Silk White model is $298 and the 64GB Sandstone Black version is $348.
While the OnePlus One may not be getting a huge price cut for this one year anniversary, OnePlus is offering some nice discounts on its accessories. All of the goodies (save for the Bamboo StyleSwap cover) are 50 percent off, meaning that you can get a USB OTG cable for $4.00, a Flip Cover for $7.50, JBL E1+ earphones for $20.00, and OnePlus Silver Bullet earphones for $7.50. OnePlus is also selling its t-shirts for $10 each.
Finally, OnePlus is giving away four bundles of a OnePlus One and a Power Bank. To enter, you can hit up this web page and do things like visit OnePlus's Facebook page, follow the company on Instagram, watch their one-year anniversary video, and more.
OnePlus has been the subject of some controversy over the past year for things like its invite system and its Smash the Past and Ladies First promos, but the One itself is still a nice smartphone one year after its release, especially for its price. And the good news is that you can now order one whenever you want, without having to hunt down an invite or wait for Tuesday to roll around.
What do you think of the OnePlus One now that it’s been around for a full year?
