Nearly two weeks after Verizon updated its Galaxy Note 4 to Android 5.0, it’s time for the Verizon Note 3 to get the same treatment.
Verizon has announced that its version of the Galaxy Note 3 will start getting Android 5.0 Lollipop today. The update includes a refreshed Material Design user interface, lock screen notifications, an updated Recent Apps menu, and more.
As with most over the air updates, the Verizon Note 3’s helping of Lollipop will go out in phases over the next week or so. If you’d like to try and snag the update manually, you can go into Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates.
