Remember that “game changer” new product that OnePlus teased earlier this month? Well it looks like we may have an idea about what it might be.

OnePlus posted a Vine video today with the caption “Feeling adventurous? The DR-1 is flying to our store next month. #OneGameChanger.” The six-second video doesn’t show much, just giving us a peek at some red thing with what looks like a spinning rotor.

So what might OnePlus be teasing? It looks like a drone. During an AMAA (Ask Me Almost Anything) session on Reddit last month, OnePlus teased that its “game changer” is a drone called the DR-1 (aka DR-O-N-E) that’ll go on sale in April. At the time, it wasn’t clear if OnePlus was joking or serious, but now it’s looking more like OnePlus’s drone is the real deal.

There’s not much that we know about OnePlus’s DR-1 drone right now, and it seems kind of strange that a smartphone maker would try to sell a drone. The drone market has been blowing up lately, though, and so perhaps OnePlus thinks that it’s got a better chance at succeeding there than it does in tablets or smartwatches, especially considering that it’s a start-up.
