After making its debut at CES in January, the Alcatel OneTouch Watch is now available for pre-order.
Alcatel OneTouch’s Watch is a smartwatch that’s got a round, 1.22-inch 240x204 touchscreen and a 210mAh battery that’s expected to provide two to five days of battery life. It’s got the usual array of sensors that you’d expect from a smartwatch, like Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, vibration, accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter, and a heart rate sensor. The Watch runs custom Alcatel-made software that’ll let you connect to Android (4.3 or higher) and iOS (7 or higher) devices and then control music, take photos, and receive notifications.
The Alcatel OneTouch Watch will set you back $149.99 for the unit with a “sporty black band.” That’s not a bad price for round-faced smartwatch, and the Alcatel OneTouch Watch could be a nice alternative to the Pebble if you’re looking for a wearable that’s easy on your wallet. Alcatel OneTouch says that the Watch will start to be available on April 30.
