If you use VSCO Cam to edit photos on your Android or iOS smartphone, today you’re getting a new feature that ought to streamline your batch editing.
VSCO Cam v4.1 for iOS and VSCO Cam v3.2 for Android adds Copy + Paste. The feature allows you to copy your edits from one photo and quickly add them to a batch of other photos. To do so, you simply select the image with the edits that you want to copy, hit the Copy + Paste button, and select Copy Edit. Then you select all of the photos that you want to apply the edits to and tap Paste Edit.
VSCO notes that the Copy + Paste tool won’t carry crop and straighten edits to new images. Still, it sounds like a feature that could come in handy if you have multiple images of a subject that you want to edit because you could get your edits just right on one photo, then just copy and paste them over to all of the others.
Alongside the new Copy + Paste feature, the Android version of VSCO Cam is gaining the ability to import TIFF images and some bug fixes. The iOS update brings an Undo feature in Edit mode, the return of the Rebuild Thumbnails button in Settings, and a handful of bug fixes.
