HTC said that the T-Mobile version of the One M7 would begin getting Android 5.0 on March 10, but apparently T-Mobile decided to treat its customers to Lollipop a day early.
Owners of the T-Mobile One M7 are reporting that they’re now getting their Android 5.0 update over the air. As expected, the update includes Android 5.0-style lock screen alerts and other notifications, a new version of Recent Apps, and the ability to search within the Settings App.
The T-Mobile One M7’s update to Android 5.0 weighs in at 729.59MB, so you’ll probably want to be on Wi-Fi when you download it. In order to do so, head into Settings > About phone > Software update > Check for updates.
