Apple announced at its Spring Forward event that iOS 8.2 would be released today, and just as promised, it’s now going out over the air.
The biggest addition in iOS 8.2 is support for the Apple Watch. That includes an Apple Watch app that’ll pair and sync the wearable with your phone and let you customize settings. There’s also a new Activity app that’ll show fitness data and achievements gathered by the Apple Watch.
Also included in iOS 8.2 are improvements for the Health app, like the ability to select the unit of measurement for distance, body temperature, height, and weight; improved stability with handling lots of data; support for adding and visualizing workout sessions from third-party apps; and more. Apple has beefed up the stability of apps like Mail and Music in iOS 8.2 as well, and it’s got a bunch of bug fixes thrown in there too.
The update is now rolling out over the air, and you can grab it by heading into Settings > General > Software Update. Let us know when the update hits your device!
