Samsung is holding an event on March 1 at which it’s expected that the company will unveil its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6. And while Samsung hasn’t outright confirmed any details of the upcoming device, it did tease one of its big features today.

In a post on the Samsung Tomorrow blog, Samsung talks about smartphone cameras and how the shooters in its Galaxy S flagship phones have improved over the years. It focuses on things like megapixel counts and the importance of front-facing cameras for things like selfies and group selfies, or “wefies,” as it calls them. Toward the end of its post, Samsung teases the cameras in its “2015 flagship model”:

"It will be intelligent and do all the thinking for users, allowing them to take amazing pictures under any conditions, without having to worry about anything more than just pressing the shutter button. It will demonstrate just how far Samsung has advanced smartphone cameras, and once again will open the creative side of our users for new ideas and new possibilities."

Separately, a report from SamMobile claims that Samsung has at least one Galaxy S6 prototype with a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. Because it’s not known how much the 20-megapixel sensor costs and if Samsung will be able to produce enough for the GS6, though, it’s not know if the Galaxy S6 will actually come to market with a 20-megapixel rear camera, if the rumored Galaxy S Edge will, or what.

Samsung has long focused on having quality cameras in its flagship smartphones, and while opinions will vary on whether or not they’re better than all others, Samsung’s smartphone shooters are often cited as some of the best on the market. With the Galaxy S6, it sounds like Samsung is teasing that its cameras will do all of the work for you, letting you ignore manual controls and just capture a quality image. Whether or not it actually can remains to be seen, but it won’t be long before we find out.
