Late in January, a new image surfaced that claimed to show off the real HTC One (M9), not a dummy case like previous leaks. We haven’t seen much of the device since, but if you’re jonesing for more Hima in your life, I’ve got something that may help.
A person going by the name Phone Designer has posted several high-quality renders of what the HTC One (M9)/HTC Hima may look like, based on previously-leaked images. The device in these photos has a centered front-facing camera and slim BoomSound front-facing speakers. Around back it looks a bit more One (M8)-like, with polycarbonate strips for its antennas and a big ol’ HTC logo. Also included is a squircle camera housing and dual LED flash.
Obviously we won’t know if this is indeed the real HTC One (M9) until the device debuts on March 1. These renders seem pretty faithful to what we’ve seen so far, though, and they show a One (M9) that takes the popular design of the One (M8) and improves it in a few key areas to make it more sleek and attractive. If this is what the One (M9) looks like, I’d say HTC’s got a solid competitor for best-looking smartphone of 2015.
What do you think of these renders? Will you be happy if the HTC One (M9) ends up looking like this?
