Valentine’s Day is coming up fast, and if you’d like to celebrate by picking up a new Moto device for a loved one or for yourself (no judgments here), then Motorola wants to help.
Starting Monday, February 2, at 11:00 am CT/12:00 pm ET, Motorola will begin offering a promo code that’ll be good for $140 off a purchase of $499.99 or more or $50 off a purchase of $249.99 on Motorola.com. Motorola will have 200,000 promo codes to give away, and those codes will be good until 10:59 pm CT/11:59 pm ET on February 14.
If you’re not able to snag a code, that doesn’t mean that you won’t get a discount. Anyone that doesn’t have a code will be able to get $100 off a purchase of $499.99 or $35 off a purchase of $249.99. No promo code is necessary, but you’ll still need to make your purchase by 10:59 pm CT/11:59 pm ET on February 14.
Motorola notes that there’s a bit of fine print to this new promo. The deal excludes the Nexus 6, Moto X (2nd Gen.) on Republic Wireless, and the Extended Service Plan. And when it comes to the Moto X (2nd Gen.), Moto G (2nd Gen.), Moto G 4G LTE (1st Gen.), Moto E, and Moto 360, you’ll have a limit of two devices.
While some folks might be bummed that the Nexus 6 isn’t eligible for use with Motorola’s Valentine’s Day promo, the excellent Moto X (2nd Gen.) and Moto G (2nd Gen.) are included, and getting $50 or $140 off of the purchase price of those devices isn’t a bad mid-February deal. And if you’re interested in seeing what Android Wear is all about, you can get $50 off the price of a Moto 360.
