Just days ahead of CES 2015, ZTE has unveiled a shiny new logo.
ZTE Corporation today announced that it’s got a new logo that better aligns with its focus on mobile information and communication technologies (M-ICT). ZTE says that the rounded design and lighter coloring goes nicely with its new Cool - Green - Open (“CGO”) philosophy that’ll see the company focus on being youthful, environmentally responsible, and open-minded.
“At the heart of the new strategy is the move towards a new company culture,” said Shi Lirong, ZTE’s President and CEO. “In the coming months, our customers will see the new ZTE through the actions and projects of our employees.”
ZTE’s new logo looks more youthful and playful and could certainly be more appealing to the general public. That’s good news for ZTE, which is aiming to be more youthful and become a bigger player in the mobile market, especially in the U.S. And while a new logo isn’t instantly going to boost ZTE’s market share, it’s not a bad place to start.
