Now that unlocked GSM and AT&T customers have had their chance to buy Motorola’s new Moto X, it’s time for Verizon folk to get their crack at the device.
Verizon says that the 16GB black Moto X will be available online and in stores starting tomorrow, September 26, for $99.99 with a 2-year contract. The white Moto X with bamboo back will also be priced at $99.99 on-contract for a “limited time. If you’d prefer to make your new Moto X yours, you’ll be able to customize a Verizon Moto X through Moto Maker, with pricing set at $99.99 for a 16GB unit and $149.99 for a 32GB model.
The new Moto X features a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 13-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, Android 4.4.4 and a 2300mAh battery. Verizon’s model also includes support for the carrier’s XLTE service, which offers increased bandwidth and faster peak data speeds over its standard LTE coverage.
