Shortly after Sony announced the Xperia Z3 this morning, T-Mobile confirmed that it plans to sell the new flagship later this year. That’s not a big surprise since T-Mo and Sony have teamed up in the U.S. on previous Xperia hardware, but apparently ol’ Magenta’s not the only U.S. carrier that’ll offer the Z3.

According to “reliable documents” that’ve been viewed by PCMag, the Xperia Z3 will eventually launch on Verizon as the “Xperia Z3v.” The device is expected to feature a Verizon logo on its backside (shocker! /s) NFC, wireless charging support, 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM and a microSD card slot.

Neither Verizon nor Sony have said a peep about any  Xperia Z3 plans. However, the two did recently come together on an LTE-enabled version of the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and we’ve seen hints that the Xperia Z2 smartphone was at one point planned for Verizon. Now that the Z3 appears to be making its way to Big Red, though, I’d expect that the Xperia Z2 won’t be making its way to Verizon’s shelves.
