First the Verizon Moto X received its Android 4.4.4 bump, and then the AT&T model got its own 4.4.4 soak test. Now it looks like we know which Moto X variant will be next in line to get the latest version of Android.
Owners of the Sprint Moto X that are also a part of the Motorola Feedback Network are now receiving the test version of their device’s Android 4.4.4 update. Details of the update are slim for now, but we know that Android 4.4.4 is primarily a bug fixing update.
As for when the official rollout of the Sprint Moto X’s Android 4.4.4 update will begin, well, that’s still up in the air for now. So long as this soak test goes smoothly, though, it shouldn’t be long before Sprint-ers are sinking their teeth into a fresh serving of KitKat.
Meanwhile, the AT&T is now pushing Android 4.4.4 to all of its Moto X-toting customers. Our pals at Android and Me have already received the update, and they report that it does include the ability to toggle off the carrier name in the X’s status bar, just like in the soak test.
