It looks like the trickle of Samsung Galaxy Alpha leaks has become a downpour. Just one day after some photos of the white Galaxy Alpha made their way online, some additional images of the unannounced Samsung handset have leaked.
Posted to Twitter by new account @culeaks, the photos claim to show the black Galaxy Alpha in the wild. The shots show many of the Galaxy Alpha features that we’ve seen in the past, including its physical home button and metal outer edge. One photo also shows the Galaxy Alpha resting next to an iPhone, which is slightly thicker than Samsung’s upcoming offering.
We’ll have to wait until Samsung officially shows off the Galaxy Alpha before we know exactly what makes it tick, but so far it looks like the metal edges will be the highlight of the device. The Alpha’s spec list is rumored to be mid-range with a 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with no microSD slot. That said, Samsung has gotten a lot of flak for its plastic smartphones, so it’ll be interesting to see how people react to the Alpha and its metal ring.
