Mark your calendars, mobile fans, because Sept. 9 may be one of the biggest days in tech for 2014.
According to a report from Re/code, Apple will unveil its new iPhone models on Sept. 9. Unsurprisingly, the Cupertino firm opted not to comment.
Apple is a company that likes to stick to cycles, and so since it unveiled the iPhone 5s on Sept. 10, 2013 and the iPhone 5 on Sept. 12, 2012, it’s no surprise that the company has selected an early September date for the iPhone 6 event. The next iPhone is expected to be available in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch sizes, which would make them the largest iPhones to date.
Are you looking forward to the next iPhone? If so, which size are you more interested in?
UPDATE: A source speaking to the Wall Street Journal also says that Apple’s "new iPhones" will be revealed on Sept. 9.
UPDATE 2: And now Bloomberg has chimed in with a report of its own that says that Apple will debut “bigger-screen iPhones” on Sept. 9. It’s looking like that date could be a lock, so you may want to start filling out your vacation request now.
