Just a week after Verizon’s Moto X began receiving Android 4.4.4, it looks like the AT&T variant may be next in line for a KitKat bump.
An email shared by Droid-Life suggests that Motorola is gearing up to begin a soak test for the AT&T version of the Moto X. Of course, the email doesn’t say exactly what the update entails.
Following Motorola Android 4.4.4 push to both the Verizon Moto X and Moto G, it seems likely that the AT&T flavor of the Moto X will get the same treatment. The only question is, how long will it be before the public push begins? The time between the Verizon Moto X’s soak test and public push was around 11 days, so as long as this next test goes smoothly, AT&T Moto X-ers shouldn’t have to wait too long to get this update.
