This is turning out to be a keyboard-heavy week on Android. Just a day after HTC released its own Sense keyboard into Google Play, Fleksy has announced a major update for its own ‘board.
Fleksy 3.0 brings with it a refreshed look and feel that the company calls the “Jet Black” look. Along with this new design, Fleksy 3.0 brings with it “significant accuracy improvements” for all 37 languages and 17 new languages like Hebrew, Croatian, Lithuanian, Albanian, Norwegian, Tagalog and Catalan.
Also launching with Fleksy 3.0 is the Fleksy Store, a marketplace in which users can purchase new themes for their keyboard. The store has six new themes to start, including options like “Deep Blue” and “Liquid Sky.” And like SwiftKey before it, anyone that previously paid for Fleksy will receive a free premium theme of their choice.
The Fleksy 3.0 update is available today on Android, and Fleksy says that it’ll hit iOS 8 “soon.” Apple says that iOS 8 will include support for third-party keyboards, and Fleksy is planning to take advantage of this new feature right out of the gate.
Have any of you Android folk checked out the Fleksy 3.0 update? If so, what do you think of it so far?
