BlackBerry has been hyping up the BlackBerry Passport quite a bit in recent weeks, showing off the device’s BlackBerry Assistant helper and its touch-enabled keyboard and also comparing it to the iPhone 5s and Galaxy S5. One thing that it hasn’t shown, though, is the white version of the Passport.
Today CrackBerry has posted a photo of what it says is the white version of the BlackBerry Passport. We can only see the front of the device, but as you might expect, it looks similar to the black Passport but with a white coat of paint.
BlackBerry has released a number of its previous products in white, including the BB7-powered Bold 9900 and the BB10-equipped Q10. That’s why it’s no surprise to see that a white Passport is in the works as well. White phones can be polarizing devices, but should the white Passport end up looking like this, then I’m betting anyone that’s a fan of BlackBerry and of white devices will be pleased.
What do you think of white smartphones?
