Hot on the heels of Motorola announcing its Android 4.4.3 update plans, the company has even more good news to share with its customers.
Motorola today began pushing an update to its Motorola Assist app. The big new feature is that when you’re at home, Assist can announce your incoming calls and text messages. After updating your app, you simply give Motorola Assist your home address, enable the “Talk to me” feature and you’ll be good to go.
Also included with this Motorola Assist update is improved driving detection, which is achieved using the phone’s microphone to detect vehicle and road sounds. Motorola has included some unspecified bug fixes as well.
Ever since it launched the Moto X last year, Motorola has been pretty on the ball when it comes to updates, both of the Android OS and app varieties. That trend is continuing this week, and its awesome to see Motorola continue to show its customers love with new software goodies.
If you’ve got a Motorola Assist-compatible handset, you can grab the updated Motorola Assist app using the Google Play link below.
