Verizon customers can currently buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Shimmery White and Charcoal Black, and there’s also a special Developer Edition available for purchase. Additionally, the Copper Gold Galaxy S5 is slated to hit Big Red’s shelves soon. It looks like Verizon has adopted the Pokemon motto “Gotta catch ‘em all,” as a new rumor suggests that the operator will soon launch the Electric Blue Galaxy S5 as well.
According to @evleaks, Verizon is planning to launch the Electric Blue version of Samsung’s Galaxy S5. There’s no mention of when this unit might launch or how much it’ll cost when it does. Verizon’s current asking price for the Galaxy S5 is $199.99 with a 2-year contract, 24 payments of $24.99 with Verizon Edge or $599.99 without a commitment.
We haven’t seen the Electric Blue Galaxy S5 make its way to the U.S. yet, so it’s exciting to hear that Verizon may soon add that model to its shelves. Stay tuned and I’ll give you a shout once we get more details about the device and Verizon’s launch plans for it.
