Google has been selling bumper cases and QuickCover cases for the Nexus 5 since late last year. If you feel like neither of those options is a good fit for your Nexus, though, you’ve now got a third option for giving your handset some protection.

Google is now selling a Nexus 5 Snap Case in the Play Store. Priced at $29.99, the Nexus 5 Snap Case clicks onto the phone and provides protection to the unit’s sides and rear. The Nexus 5 Snap Case features a “Google” logo printed onto its lower backside and is available in Black, Aqua, Silver, White and Clear hues.

This new Nexus 5 Snap Case looks like a good option for consumers that want to protect their device but also want the minimal amount of added bulk. And while $30 seems a bit steep for piece of plastic, the cases “officialness” and its Google branding could be appealing to some folks.
