LG didn't mention any kind of North American availability for its L Series III smartphones when it introduced the trio earlier this month, but if a new leak is to be believed, at least one member of the group will be breaching U.S. shores.
A new image has leaked out that shows the LG L90 with T-Mobile branding on its lower backside. The L90 shown in this leaked image looks fairly similar to its international counterpart, complete with rounded corners, capacitive back and menu keys and a physical home button.
The LG L90 is the highest-end member of the L Series III family, boasting a 4.7-inch 960x540 display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. The L90 can also be used with a Quick Window smart cover, which features a small window that lets the user check the time, incoming calls and more without actually opening the front cover.
It may not have the most bleeding edge spec sheet that we've seen in recent memory, but so long as it's priced appropriately, the L90 could be worth a look for folks that are in the market for a large-screened Android smartphone. It's also worth noting that the L90 will come to market with Android 4.4 KitKat preloaded, which is a welcome sight since entry-level and mid-range hardware doesn't always get the newest version of Android right out of the gate.
There's no word yet on when T-Mobile might add the LG L90 to its shelves, but keep it locked to PhoneDog and I'll be sure to update you with more details as they become available.
