Looks like the Verizon flavor of the Moto G isn't the only CDMA variant of Motorola's new phone that's now hitting store shelves. The Home Shopping Network is now accepting orders for a Boost Mobile version of the Moto G, with pricing set at $129.95 without a contract. HSN is also offering a $30 mail-in rebate with the device so long as the buyer activates his or her Boost Moto G by Feb. 28 and sends in the rebate by May 1. Along with the Moto G itself, HSN is including a car charger and case with each purchase.
The Boost Mobile version of the Moto G features specs similar to the Verizon Moto G, which is the same as the original GSM model, save for its CDMA innards. That means that you're looking at a 4.5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter.
There are a few reasons why it's great to see the Moto G hitting Boost Mobile. Not only is it good that the Moto G is making its way to more carriers, but its arrival on Boost Mobile gives the prepaid operator and its subscribers a near-vanilla Android option. Then there's the price, which makes the Moto G one of the most wallet-friendly handsets in Boost's lineup. Overall the Moto G is a respectable handset that should be one of the first devices that Boost Mobile customers look at when it comes time to upgrade to a new device.
