After starting its post-webOS life in mobile with the launch of the Android-powered Slate 7 earlier this year, HP recently bought in to Google's platform even further with the introduction of four new Slate tablets: the Slate7 HD (now Slate7 Plus), Slate7 Extreme, Slate8 Pro and Slate10 HD. The company didn't have many details about its new Slates to share at that time, but today HP has given us a nice Monday tablet surprise by adding all four models to its online shop. Here are some brief spec rundowns for each unit:
HP hits on a number of different price points and sizes with its newest batch of Slate-branded tablets. None of them are quite up to par with the highest-end Android tablets currently on the market, but the Slate8Pro looks like it could be a respectable offering thanks to its Tegra 4 core and 8-inch 1600x1200. The product pages for all four models can be found by hitting up the links below. It's also worth noting that the Slate7 Extreme is listed as being "Out of Stock" as of this writing, but the other three devices all feature bright red "Add to Cart" buttons that are just waiting to be clicked.
