Hot on the heels of a leak that seemingly confirmed several of the Lumia 1520's specs, the stream of Nokia leaks just keeps on flowing. This morning we're looking at an image of a device referred to as the "Nokia Guru." Details on this thing are fairly light, but in a tweet sent earlier this month, prolific leaker @evleaks described the Guru as an "iPod shuffle + NFC."
The cyan square shown in this image certainly looks quite a bit like Apple's iPod shuffle, sporting a similar squarish shape and what could be a clip on its backside. We can also see volume controls on its side, a microUSB port on its bottom and what looks to be a "Play" icon and the letters "NFC" imprinted onto its face. While it's possible that the Guru could act as a standalone music player, the presence of NFC suggests that it could also be capable of pairing up with other hardware, such as some speakers or perhaps even a Windows Phone.
A previous rumor claimed that Nokia is planning to introduce six new products as well as a slew of accessories at its even in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22. We're already expecting devices like the Lumia 1520 phablet and Lumia 2520 tablet to be part of that group, but it's certainly possible that the Guru could sneak in there as well. Here's to hoping that that's the case so that we don't have to wait long to find out exactly what this thing is and what it's capable of.
