We're now less than 24 hours away from Nokia World 2013, but just in case you need a little more Lumia goodness to help satiate your appetite until then, I'm happy to oblige. A new image of the yellow Lumia 1520 was just posted by @evleaks that shows the 6-inch Windows Phone phablet with a matching yellow Nokia Treasure Tag.
The Treasure Tag is expected to be an accessory that pairs with a Lumia Windows Phone over NFC and then help owners locate the connected device if it's misplaced. The small sqaure also features a loop so that it can be attached to a set of keys or some other object. Meanwhile, the Lumia 1520 in this image appears to be displaying an accompanying Treasure Tag application.
In addition to this Lumia 1520/Treasure Tag combo image, @evleaks has shared an image of a protective cover for Nokia's upcoming 6-inch smartphone. The case is a tad reminiscent of Apple's iPad Smart Case, as it features some protection for the phone's backside as well as a front cover that can be folded to prop the phone up horizontally. When it's not serving as a stand for the phone, it looks like the cover can wrap around and provide some protection for the Lumia 1520's high-res display.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to be the first phablet-style Windows Phone device to hit the market. Thanks to Windows Phone 8 Update 3's support for large, high-res displays, the Lumia 1520 is expected to sport a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen on its face. Also reportedly included with the 1520 is a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 20-megapixel PureView camera and a beefy battery that could be as large as 3400mAh.
It's widely expected that Nokia will finally give the Lumia 1520 its official introduction at Nokia World 2013 tomorrow. We've heard that the Finnish firm's got several accessories up its sleeve as well, so it's certainly possible that the Treasure Tag and Lumia 1520 protective cover could show up in Abu Dhabi as well. Stay tuned.
