Nokia is expected to officially take the wraps off of its Lumia 1520 phone/tablet hybrid in Abu Dhabi tomorrow, but it looks like the company's Chinese division just couldn't wait to share some of the juicy details of its new device.
Nokia has posted an entry for the 1520 to Tmall, its official Chinese online store, complete with several of the handset's more notable specs. The listing reveals that the Lumia 1520 features a 6-inch 1080p display on its face, a 20-megapixel PureView-branded camera on its backside and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor buried inside its body.
Some aspects of this Lumia 1520 product page appear to be in an unfinished state with placeholder text, including one part that claims that the phone will pack a 1200mAh battery. The aforementioned screen, camera and processor details come from an infographic that looks pretty complete, though, and they also line up with other Lumia 1520 leaks that've popped up in recent months.
After leaking out in all kinds of renders and "in the wild" photos, the Lumia 1520 will reportedly be announced alongside five other new products at Nokia World 2013 on Oct. 22. The good news for folks that are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first Windows Phone phablet is that the 1520's retail debut could follow as soon as early November. Until then, you can peruse the phone's prematurely-posted product page by hitting up the Tmall link below.
