The T-Mobile variant of the HTC One was originally expected to begin receiving its update to Android 4.3 last week, but after hitting an undisclosed snag, the rollout of the Jelly Bean bump was pushed to this week. Now the wait for Android 4.3 is finally over for owners of the Magenta-flavored One, as several owners of the device are now reporting that the update has started going out. T-Mobile has confirmed the rollout in its support forums, announcing that the update is now being pushed over the air and will continue to go out until Nov. 30. 

A support page on HTC's website reveals that the update brings the T-Mobile One up to software version 3.24.531.3 and includes a bump up to Android 4.3, some bug fixes and improvements to the One's notification bar, Quick Settings, battery life, camera AE/AF lock, BlinkFeed and HTC Video highlights. The update is 560MB in size, which is large but not entirely unsurprising consider all of the goodies that are stuffed into it.

In order to install the update, the T-Mobile One will need be connected to Wi-Fi. Owners can then head into Settings > About > Software updates > Check now to manually check for the update. While those HTC One users on T-Mobile may have had to exercise a bit of patience while waiting for their update due to its aforementioned delay, the good news is that the extra wait time didn't end up being terribly long, and now the new software is making its way to the public.
