The HTC One Max has become one of the worst-kept secrets in the mobile world in recent months, starring in a seemingly endless stream of leaks that has given us a pretty good idea of what makes the phone/tablet hybrid tick. It's widely expected that HTC will finally put an end to the leaks and make the One Max official this month, possibly as soon as next week, but apparently the device has decided to pose for a few more leaked photos before its big debut.

Several high-quality photos of the HTC One Max have been posted to Chinese site Xuite.net, giving us a nice tour of the giganto-phone's body and some of its exterior features. That includes the rumored fingerprint sensor that rests beneath the One Max's rear camera as well as the front-facing BoomSound speakers, volume rocker, power button and the set of three contacts in the lower right corner of the device's backside.

As its name suggests, the One Max will be the big sibling of HTC's One family, with the rumor mill predicting that it'll pack a 5.9-inch 1080p display that would dwarf both the 4.7-inch screen of the original One and the 4.3-inch display on the One mini. Also said to be included with the One Max is a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage and a beefy 3300mAh battery.

A recent report from the Wall Street Journal claimed that HTC is planning to introduce the One Max on Oct. 15. Here's to hoping that that rumor becomes reality so that we can stop ogling the phone in leaked photos and see how it stacks up to other big-screen Android phones like Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and LG's Optimus G Pro.
