Now that Samsung has officially taken the wraps off of its curved screen smartphone, all eyes have turned to LG to see what kind of curved concoction the company is cooking up with its rumored G Flex. The device is expected to be announced in November, but as is frequently the case in the mobile world, some images of the phone have leaked out well ahead of its formal introduction.
A trio of images have been posted by Engadget that show an LG-branded device a display that curves from the top of the unit to the bottom. The phone in these renders line up nicely with the sketches of the G Flex that surfaced earlier this month, including its rounded edges and what looks to be a slight camera hump on its backside.
Much of the information regarding the LG G Flex, including its specs and availability, are still up in the air at this point. One detail that's currently being kicked around the rumor mill is that the phone's display is a 6-inch OLED panel, which just so happens to be the very type of screen that LG Display recently confirmed that it's now producing.
UPDATE: Sources speaking to Engadget have backed up the aforementioned rumor that the LG G Flex's screen will measure 6 inches in size.
