It seems as though just about every detail of the Nokia Lumia 1520 has leaked out in recent weeks, including several images of the device as well as a majority of its spec list. One detail that has yet to be nailed down, though, is its launch date. That may have finally changed today, as a new report claims to have the details on AT&T's launch plans for what's expected to be one of the first Windows Phone phablets.

Sources speaking to WPCentral claim that the Lumia 1520 will launch on Friday, Nov. 8, and that the device will be available in black, red, white and yellow. As far as pricing goes, we're told to expect an off-contract cost of $699.99. There's no word yet on how AT&T plans to price the 1520 on contract, but with a commitment-free price of $700, a two-year contract price of $299.99 doesn't seem far-fetched.

The Nokia Lumia 1520's rumored spec sheet paints it as the highest-end Windows Phone to date, complete with a 6-inch 1080p display and quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. The device is also said to include 32GB storage, microSD slot and a 20-megapixel camera. Unsurprisingly, Nokia is expected to include a beefy battery to keep that big and powerful package running, with recent reports claiming that the 1520 will sport a 3400mAh juice pack.

While phone/tablet hybrid devices with huge displays aren't for everyone, the product category has recently exploded in popularity in the world of Android. Meanwhile, Windows Phone's largest device to date is the 4.8-inch Samsung ATIV S. The upcoming GDR3 update will enable screen sizes of 5 inches and higher, though, finally giving Live Tile lovers some mega-sized smartphones to call their own. Recent rumors have suggested that the Lumia 1520 could be announced in late October, and so anyone that's thinking about picking one up may want to start measuring their pockets soon.
