Samsung has been pretty quiet so far about its plans regarding a U.S. launch of the Galaxy S4 mini, but thanks to some leaked images that just surfaced, it looks like we can now mark at least one operator down for the new device.
Some images shared by Engadget show a Verizon-branded Galaxy S4 mini lounging around in the wild and looking pretty much like a smaller version of Verizon's Galaxy S 4. A screenshot of the device's "About phone" screen lists it as having the model number SCH-I435, which is in line with the "SCH-I___" identifiers that other Samsung devices on Verizon use.
There's no word yet on when Verizon might get around to launching the Galaxy S4 mini, or how much the device will cost when it does. However, the big news here is that it appears as though the S4 mini will actually be making its way stateside, which is good to see considering how little Samsung has said about the device since its debut in late May. I'm betting that there will be at least a few Verizon customers that'll be interested in a smaller version of the Galaxy S 4, especially if Verizon manages to price it appropriately.
