Verizon today began selling a Brown Autumn version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4, just as the rumor mill foretold it would. The new Brown Autumn Galaxy S 4 is available on Verizon's website for $199.99 with a two-year commitment, the same price as the Black Mist and White Frost models. It also features the same specs as the black and white models, meaning that buyers can expect a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 16GB storage, microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Verizon is the second U.S. carrier to launch an exclusive Galaxy S 4 color, following the Red Aurora Galaxy S 4 that hit AT&T last month. It's rumored that Sprint will be joining in on the fun with a Purple Mirage Galaxy S 4 next month, which wouldn't be a surprise since the Now Network launched a purple Galaxy S III in 2012. Meanwhile, Verizon customers that are after a Galaxy S 4 with a splash of color now have this brown unit available to them, giving those folks daring enough to rock a brown phone a way to stand out with a color that we don't often see in the smartphone world.
