Sprint isn't the only major U.S. operator that's expanding its 4G LTE network. Both AT&T and Verizon have announced that their LTE networks are now live in new areas, and in the case of Verizon, there's some expanded coverage as well. First up, AT&T has revealed that its LTE service has been activated in three new U.S. cities. The lucky towns with fresh AT&T LTE service are:

• Cushing, Okla.
• Florence, S.C.
• Cheyenne, Wyo.

Meanwhile, Verizon has flipped its LTE switch in five new markets and expanded it in a handful of others. Here's how Verizon's latest LTE expansion breaks down:

New markets

• El Centro, Calif.
• Fort Dodge, Iowa
• Middlesboro/Harlan, Ky.
• Paducah, Ky.
• East Liverpool, Ohio

Expanded markets

• Northwest Ohio
• Southeast Ohio (includes Cambridge, Senecaville and parts of Senecaville Lake)
• Bedford County, Penn.
• Huntingdon County, Penn.

It's always good to see some more 4G LTE love being spread around, especially when several of the top U.S. carriers get involved. Now that we've seen AT&T, Sprint and Verizon all expand their LTE networks this week, here's to hoping that some T-Mobile LTE network growth isn't far off.
