Following Samsung's announcement yesterday that the Galaxy S 4 will be available on seven U.S. carriers, multiple operators came forward to share some details on their launch plans for the new device. Now another carrier has shed a bit of light on its Galaxy S 4 availability. Verizon just sent out a tweet from its official @VZWnews Twitter account saying that its version of the Galaxy S 4 will be arriving in May, going on to tease that more information will be revealed "soon."
Obviously Verizon's tweet isn't the most detailed announcement that we've ever seen, but it does confirm that Big Red's version of the Galaxy S 4 won't be hitting shelves for at least another couple of weeks. A recently-leaked Staples document pegged the Verizon Galaxy S 4 with a tentative launch date of May 30, which is the final Thursday of that month. Since Verizon is known for being a fan of Thursday device launches, May 30 could very well be the date that Verizon's S 4 arrives, but for now Verizon subscribers may want to use a pencil to circle that date on their calendars. Stay tuned and we'll let you know when you can pull out that Sharpie.
