There's been an awful lot of talk concerning the Nexus 4 and its supply woes in recent weeks, with a Google exec and two LG representatives weighing in on the matter in recent weeks. Today another Googler touched on the Nexus supply situation, with CEO Larry Page addressing the matter during Google's Q4 2012 earnings call. After talking up the Nexus 7 and its appearances on holiday gift lists, Page said that Google has some work to do when it comes to managing its supply, adding that doing so is a "priority" for the company. Page's full quote, which can be heard at the 7:50 mark in the clip below, is as follows:

"Clearly there's work to be done managing our supply better, as well as building a great customer experience, and that is priority for the teams."

Page's statement may not offer up any information on when more Nexus 4 stock might hit the Google Play Store, but the fact that he has come out and said that managing supply is a focus for Google is good news for folks that are still unable to purchase the Nexus that they desire. As of this writing, both the 8GB and 16GB versions of the Nexus 4 are sold out on Google Play, but the 16GB and 32GB versions of the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 are in stock and ready for delivery in 3-5 business days. Anyone that's desperate for a Nexus 4 could try their local T-Mobile store, as the carrier recently said that the N4 will be expanding to all its stores in the coming weeks, though it's worth noting that T-Mo isn't selling the device at the same price that Google is.
