With a steady lead over the competition, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is shaping up to be the top overall smartphone for the month of December.
MT PLEASANT, SC – PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) sets the standard for ranking the best smartphones currently on the market by weighing both readers' and experts' weekly votes. For week 41, the Samsung Galaxy Note II was the overall top choice in both the People's Choice Chart and Mobile Tech Expert's Chart. With 120 more votes than the #2 smartphone in the People's Choice Chart and five more points than the Apple iPhone 5 in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, its lead is steady.
Again, the Nokia Lumia 920 came in second in the People's Choice Chart, beating the #3 Samsung Galaxy S III by only 12 reader votes. The Google Nexus 4 lost a little ground, losing to the Samsung Galaxy S III by 20 votes. In the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, the Apple iPhone 5 garnered 40 points to seal second place. In third was the HTC DROID DNA with 24 points. And the Google Nexus 4 jumped to #4 with 19 points, knocking the Samsung Galaxy S III to fifth with 18 points.
