It's time to fire up Software Update, iOS users, because Apple today released iOS 6.0.2. The changelog for the update is a small one, only listing a fix for "a bug that could impact Wi-Fi." This update comes around a month and a half after Apple released its an update to iOS 6.0.1.
Users have been able to install iOS updates over the air using the "Software Update" feature in a device's Settings menu since iOS 5, but some folks (myself included) have been receiving errors when trying to update to iOS 6.0.2 using that method. However, plugging an iDevice into iTunes and checking for the update there worked smoothly, so you may have to dust off that Lightning cable to get your hardware onto the newest version of iOS. Be sure to give us a shout once the update dust settles and you've got iOS 6.0.2 on your device!
UPDATE: MacStories says hat the iOS 6.0.2 update is only available for the iPhone 5 and iPad mini. Checking for the update on my third generation iPad brought up a message saying that it was up-to-date with iOS 6.0.1.
