We've already had a couple of network expansions announced today, and now it's Verizon's turn to share some 4G LTE news. The big red carrier has named several cities that will gain Verizon LTE coverage on December 20, with several areas in the western and northwestern part of the country included. Here are the list of markets announced so far that are a week away from partaking in LTE goodness:
Verizon is well past its goal of having LTE service in 400 areas before the end of 2012, and Big Red notes that this upcoming expansion will push it past 470 total LTE markets. So far it's got a fairly sizable list of cities taking part in the December 20 network growth, and with a week to go before Verizon officially flips its 4G switch, it's possible that there could be more locations announced in the coming days.
