And the HTC DROID DNA leaks just keep on comin'. The latest bit of information on HTC and Verizon's new device comes to us from @evleaks, which has posted a new, clear press render of the DROID DNA. The device is shown head-on, and we can see Verizon branding, a camera and a trio of capacitive navigation buttons on the DNA's face. There also looks to be a button in the center of the top portion of the handset, which lines up with a previous report that claimed that the DNA's power button would be centered on the top of the phone.
As far as specs go, we've been told to expect a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and Android 4.1.1 beneath HTC Sense 4+ to be packed into the DROID DNA. If those features hold true, that means that we're looking at a version of the HTC J Butterfly that was introduced in Japan last month, but with Verizon 4G LTE connectivity. A launch date is still up in the air, but HTC and Verizon are gathering the mobile press in New York City on November 13 to show off their "latest collaboration," and it seems likely that the DROID DNA will be the guest of honor at the event. Folks that can't wait that long for another peek at the DROID DNA should stay tuned, because if the past month or so is any indication, we very well could see this thing pop up again in the next week.
