Sprint's Samsung Galaxy Note II has only been available for a hair under two weeks, but today the Now Network announced that its phone/tablet hybrid is already receiving its first update. The update will bring the Sprint Galaxy Note II up to software version L900VPALJC, and its one that ought to make Note II owners happy. Sprint says that L900VPALJC includes the Multi-Window View feature that allows users to run two apps at the same time. The update's full changelog is as follows:
Samsung Galaxy Note II Software Update - L900VPALJC
Enhancements/Fixes
This update isn't a huge one, but the multi-window functionality is an addition that I'm sure will make L900VPALJC much more exciting to all of the Sprint Galaxy Note II folk out there. Sprint says that this update is being released today, but adds that it's going out in stages. All devices are expected to receive the update within five days. If you've got a Sprint Note II and just can't wait to do two things at once on your device, you can manually check for the update by heading into Settings > System Update > Update Samsung Software > Check now. Happy multi-windowing!
