Get excited, T-Mobile keyboard addicts, because Magenta has officially taken the wraps off of the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G. The Relay 4G features a sliding five-row QWERTY keyboard, and for those times that call for a brief message, there's also a 4-inch Super AMOLED display. Also on the front is a 1.3-megapixel camera, and flipping around back will reveal the Relay 4G's 5-megapixel shooter. Other Galaxy S Relay 4G specs include a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 42Mbps HSPA+ connectivity and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
As far as availability goes, T-Mobile says that the Galaxy S Relay 4G will launch "in the coming weeks" for an undisclosed price. Obviously there's still a bit of mystery surrounding the Relay 4G and its release details, but considering how slim the QWERTY smartphone pickings are on T-Mobile right now, I'm guessing that many folks shopping for an Android handset with a physical keyboard are just happy to see a new phone announced. As usual, we'll give you the nitty-gritty details on the Relay 4G and its launch as soon as we get 'em. We've got T-Mobile's full announcement of the device below to help pass the time until then.
