Towards the end of last year, we got our first look at Nokia's very first Windows Phone device. At the beginning of this year, stateside customers were graced with the Lumia 710 and Lumia 900. Both valid entries from Nokia, we wondered what they could do with the Windows Phone brand and how their reentry into the U.S. market would go. It's off to a rough start, but yesterday both the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 were announced in New York.

Availability nor price were not mentioned at the press event yesterday, but we're confident the new Lumia lineup will make its way to the States sooner or later. Here in this gallery is the Nokia Lumia 920, which hosts a spectacle of innovative features and comparable specifications to its closest rivals: 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset, 4.5-inch WXGA (1280x768) PureMotion HD+ display, 2,000mAh battery with built-in wireless charging, 8.7-megapixel PureView camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Lumia 920 will be available in both pentaband LTE and HSPA+ variants.

Nokia seems to be on a very positive track here. How will this Lumia device affect their presence in the U.S. market? How will it affect Windows Phone market share? The ecosystem?
