Samsung already has an event scheduled for August 15 and will be hosting a pre-IFA show on August 29, but now it looks like we'll be getting even more news from the company the week in-between those gatherings. It's been revealed that Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Samsung will all be coming together for a shindig in New York City on August 22. The event will be kicking off at 6:30 p.m., and while it's not yet clear exactly what the three firms have in store, we're told to expect "big mobile news."
We're normally pretty excited about a new mobile event, but the fact that both Boost and Virgin are planning to be in attendance along with Samsung on August 22 has our interest piqued even further. Boost and Virgin recently added some HTC handsets to their lineups in the HTC EVO Design 4G and HTC EVO V 4G, respectively, so perhaps Samsung is planning to give the two carriers some higher-end handsets of its own. We'll be sure you bring you more news on the event as we get it, but until then, the comments section below is a great place to leave your thoughts on what the trio of companies may be planning. Just sayin'.
