HTC has given several past Sprint EVO family members new paint jobs after they initially debuted in black, and now it looks like the HTC EVO 4G LTE may end up following that trend. According to a screenshot from Sprint's warehouse inventory system, the carrier is planning to offer a white EVO 4G LTE. As you can see above, there's a listing for the "HTC X325C BAR PHONE", aka the EVO 4G LTE, and then below it is the "HTC X325C WH BAR PHONE," suggesting that a white version of the EVO 4G LTE is in the works. There's no word yet on when the pale EVO 4G LTE may launch.
While this is all still unconfirmed at this point, it wouldn't be a shock to see a white EVO 4G LTE materialize since past EVO devices (like the EVO 4G and EVO 3D) were also given snowy white makeovers. Now we just need to wait for HTC and Sprint to actually come forward and make the thing official. Exactly when that'll happen is a mystery, but at least those of you that'd be interested in a white EVO 4G LTE have gotten the heads-up that such a device might be coming. Has the possibility of a white EVO 4G LTE piqued anyone's interest?
UPDATE: Thanks to a heads-up from commenter Granville, it appears as though we may already be getting a peek at the white EVO 4G LTE courtesy of Sprint. He found the image you see below on Sprint's site, informing customers that they can receive a $100 service credit by porting their number to Sprint and buying an Epic 4G Touch or EVO 4G LTE. Right alongside the white Epic 4G Touch is what appears to be the white EVO 4G LTE, complete with a white bezel and then a darker, kind of greyish body. The shot can be found right here on Sprint's site.
Thanks, Granville!
