Verizon has been talking about its upcoming data share plans since for quite a while now, but later this month, the plans will finally launch. This morning, Verizon announced its new Share Everything plans, which will debut on June 28 and will include unlimited voice minutes and messaging as well as a single bucket of data that can be shared between up to 10 devices. Mobile hotspot support is also included in the Share Everything plans for no extra charge.
So how do the plans break down? Interested customers start by choosing the device they want to add to the Share Everything plan, each of which has a Monthly Line Access price. For example, smartphones cost $40 per month, basic phones are $30 per month and tablets are $10 per month. Then they can choose the amount of data that they want to share each month. The data buckets start at 1GB for $50 per month and can go up to 2GB, 4GB, 6GB, 8GB or 10GB, with the largest allotment priced at $100 per month.
Verizon also notes that there are different plan options for basic phones or data-only devices. Basic phones can choose from a 700 minutes plan with no included messages or data for $40 per month or a $70 plan that includes unlimited talk, text and 300MB of data. Meanwhile, data-only devices (like hotspots and tablets) can pick from a 4GB plan for $30 per month, 6GB for $40, 8GB for $50 or 10GB for $60, with Monthly Line Access pricing set at $20 for hotspots and USB sticks or $10 for tablets.
Considering just how long we've been hearing that Verizon's shared data plans were coming soon, it's good to see that they're finally actually coming and to have all of the details of the new plans laid bare. The fact that Verizon has several different data buckets available with the Share Everything plans is welcome, but it'd be nice if there were at least a couple of options when it comes to voice minutes and messaging too. BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Verizon Wireless today announced Share Everything Plans that will forever change the way customers purchase wireless services. Share Everything Plans include unlimited voice minutes, unlimited text, video and picture messaging and a single data allowance for up to 10 Verizon Wireless devices. In addition, the Mobile Hotspot service on all the devices is included in the Share Everything Plans at no additional charge. The groundbreaking Share Everything Plans debut on June 28 and will be available to new, as well as existing, customers who may wish to move to the new plans.

How Share Everything Plans Work
To get started on a Share Everything Plan, customers first select the devices they want on their accounts. The next step is to choose a plan that includes unlimited minutes, unlimited messages and a shared data allowance that begins at 1 GB for $50. Customers adding a tablet on their Share Everything Plans can do so for an additional $10, with no long-term contract requirement. The following matrix shows pricing for an account with several different devices, such as a smartphone, a tablet and a basic phone, billed to the same individual.
There are separate plans for accounts with only basic phones, or data only devices such as USB modems or Jetpack Mobile Hotspots at www.verizonwireless.com/ShareEverything.
