Yesterday Cricket Wireless announced that it will begin offering the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S on June 22, making it the first prepaid carrier in the U.S. to offer Apple's smartphone. Now a new report claims to have details on another prepaid operator that could also be adding the iPhone to its lineup in the near future. According to a TechnoBuffalo source, Boost Mobile may launch both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S in early September. Unfortunately, details pertaining to plans and pricing are still up in the air.
Now that the iPhone will soon be making its prepaid debut, it seems like it's only a matter of time before it arrives on another prepaid operator, similar to how we've seen a steady stream of regional postpaid carriers add iOS handsets to their lineups. And since Sprint already offers both the iPhone 4 and 4S, it makes sense that one of its prepaid brands could join in on the iOS fun at some point. While an early September debut for the iPhone on Boost Mobile is still a few months out, if you're committed to sticking with Boost and would snap up an iPhone if it does indeed hit the carrier's shelves, at least you've got plenty of time to start saving. Any of you Boost folk think you'd be interested in an iPhone 4 or 4S?
