U.S. Cellular today took the wraps off of some new prepaid plans, including one that's are compatible with several of the carrier's Android-powered smartphones. The cheapest plan starts at $35 per month and includes 400 voice minutes, 400 texts and 400 picture messages, but does not include data. Next up is an option that includes unlimited minutes and texts as well as 1GB of data for $50 per month. That $50 plan is only compatible with U.S. Cellular's feature phones. The final new plan is priced at $65 per month and includes unlimited minutes and messaging as well as 2GB of smartphone data.
So which Android phones are compatible with U.S. Cellular's $65 prepaid plan? The list includes the Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Mesmerize, Motorola Electrify, Huawei Ascend II, HTC Merge, Samsung Repp and HTC Wildfire S. That's not a bad selection of phones to choose from, and it's good to see U.S. Cellular make the Galaxy S II available with the $65 prepaid plan for customers interested in a high-end Android device. If one of the U.S. Cellular's new prepaid offerings sounds like it might be up your alley, you can find all three plans and their respective "Add To Cart" buttons at the source link below.
