There are a couple of new LG-made Android handsets that recently began calling Sprint home, and a new leak has shown that if you decide to drop some cash on either of them, you'll get a little back in return. According to a document sent to TechnoBuffalo, Sprint will be running a promotion from May 18th through July 18th that'll reward buyers of the LG Viper 4G LTE or LG Optimus Elite with a $25 Google Wallet credit. Interested customers must activate Google Wallet and a Google Wallet prepaid card within seven days of activating their new handset. Once that's done, they'll receive an instant $10 credit followed by another $15 credit that'll arrive within three weeks of activation.
That's not all of the Sprint leaky goodness that's come out tonight, though, as it looks like a pair of Android devices may soon see healthy discounts. Beginning May 18th and running through July 14th, the LG Viper 4G LTE will have its instant discount raised to $120, knocking its price down to $79.99 on contract. If WiMAX is more your thing, the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch will be gaining a $50 mail-in rebate, bringing its total price to $149.99 with a two-year contract.
So there you are, Sprint customers. These leaked deals look pretty nice, especially when it comes to the LG Viper 4G LTE. It's also worth noting that Sprint is running a promo for the Galaxy Nexus that'll give a $40 Google Wallet credit to anyone that buys the handset before May 22nd. For anyone that'd rather pick up the Viper, Optimus Elite or Epic 4G Touch, though, it may not be a bad idea to hold off on your purchase until the 18th rolls around. Like the saying goes, good things like digital wallet credits and phone discounts come to those who wait.
